12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rolland Pierre! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cyborg connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Cyborg thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Pierre if he has to take too many more of those.
Cyborg swings for the body but Pierre moves out of range.
Cyborg lunges at Pierre with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pierre's hand. Cyborg tried to score with a low kick but Pierre checks it. Pierre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cyborg manages to avoid it. Cyborg lands the left hand. Cyborg lands with a kick to the ribs.
Pierre walks into a left hand. Pierre throws a right and a left that both miss. Cyborg scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Cyborg lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Cyborg buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crunch! Cyborg slams his shin into Pierre's torso. A jab from Pierre misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cyborg cracks the inside of Pierre's front leg. Cyborg lands a leg kick that knocks Pierre off balance momentarily. A punch lands to the side of Cyborg 's head but he takes it in his stride. Pierre chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cyborg can pounce on him.
Pierre gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Cyborg thuds a left hand into Pierre's body. Cyborg scores with a leg kick.
Pierre on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cyborg. Cyborg obviously looking to wear him down.
Pierre connects with a body shot. Pierre throws a series of punches but Cyborg moves out of range. Pierre misses with a few strikes there.

and Cyborg counters with a left to the body. Pierre sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cyborg throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Pierre looks to score with a jab to the body but Cyborg is just out of range. Cyborg cracks Pierre with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Pierre's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Pierre misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cyborg is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. The fighters circle momentarily. Pierre darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Cyborg lands a slapping body shot.
Cyborg connects with a right hand. Pierre shakes it off.
Pierre is rocked! Pierre misses the shot to the body. Pierre is still on wobbly legs! Can Cyborg finish him? Pierre swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cyborg counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Pierre seems to have recovered his senses. Cyborg connects with a solid leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cyborg avoids a punch combination nicely.

Pierre on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cyborg. Cyborg obviously looking to wear him down.
Chris Cyborg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cyborg connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Cyborg moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Pierre misses with a looping left. Pierre has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cyborg. A nice leg kick lands there from Cyborg. Donk. Pierre catches Cyborg right on the button with a cross. A slapping leg kick lands for Cyborg.
Pierre takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Pierre has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Cyborg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cyborg connects with a jab. A combination from Pierre does no damage. Cyborg slips a jab from Pierre. Cyborg scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Good leg kick by Cyborg there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pierre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cyborg jabs at Pierre's body. Pierre misses with a straight left. Pierre on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Pierre will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pierre throws a right and a left that both miss. Pierre looks winded! Pierre on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Cyborg dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Pierre scores with a decent looking hook. Pierre looks to land a right hand but Cyborg moved out of range. A combination from Pierre does no damage. Pierre scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Cyborg lands with a thumping leg kick.
Pierre jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cyborg avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Pierre takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Cyborg scores with a push kick. Cyborg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pierre. Pierre misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cyborg.
A chopping leg kick lands by Cyborg. Cyborg is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pierre. Pierre walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Pierre is breathing heavily. Cyborg moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Cyborg dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pierre. That did some damage! Cyborg wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Cyborg lands a high kick!

Cyborg lands a front kick. Cyborg cracks Pierre with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Pierre needs to keep his hands up - Cyborg had a free shot at his head there. Cyborg fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pierre. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cyborg thumps Pierre with a low kick. An inside leg kick lands from Cyborg.

Cyborg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pierre moves away. Pierre takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pierre. Cyborg does a little dance to reset his feet. Pierre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cyborg. Pierre misses with a wild body shot. A nice leg kick lands there from Cyborg. Cyborg is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pierre can do to turn this around? Cyborg works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. The fighters circle, before Cyborg throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Pierre's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Cyborg lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Gunner has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have really solid chins. It looks like Hawk Gunner has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Nice uppercut lands for Williams. That snapped Gunner's head back.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manel shoots for a takedown but Attasio saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Manel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Attasio sprawls well initially but Manel persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Attasio avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Manel. Manel wants to free his trapped foot but Attasio is holding on for dear life with his legs. Manel throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Attasio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Manel throws a strike but Attasio avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Attasio keeping moving, preventing Manel from controlling successfully. Manel stands up over Attasio, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Manel with a flurry of punches that miss. Manel looking to pass the guard. Manel throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Attasio works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manel is looking to work some ground and pound but Attasio has wrist control. Manel passes Attasio's left leg - he's now in half guard. Manel trying to control from Attasio's half guard. Attasio has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Manel slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Manel throws a big right hand that misses. Manel trying to control but Attasio is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manel working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Attasio's head. Manel wants to pass the guard but Attasio is keeping the position. Manel throws a big elbow that misses. Manel engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Attasio utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Manel is pushing down on Attasio's leg trying to pass to half guard. Attasio is fighting to maintain full guard but Manel has managed to sneak the leg through. Manel is taking a breather. Attasio says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Manel scoring with strikes to the body and head. Attasio is not content to let Manel control the position. We've been hearing good reports from Manel's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Manel controlling the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Manel is nestled in close to Attasio, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gushiken lands a head shot. The fighters circling - Gushiken throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gushiken lands with an uppercut that bounces Kula off the cage and back into range. Kula closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gushiken circles away. Nice sprawl there from Gushiken as Kula shoots in. Kula shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gushiken defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kalle Kula. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gushiken wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kula dives in and grabs Gushiken's left leg, looking for a takedown. Freeman is working away from the top position though. Simeon Malaya has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Freeman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Carlos Danger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Danger is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dee dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Danger scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Dee throws a body punch but Danger moves out of range. Danger's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Dee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Dee lands a jab to the nose. Dee throws a push kick but Danger slaps the foot to one side. Dee cracks Danger with a right hand to the side of the head. Tweedle Dee is winning the standup battle so far. Danger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dee moves away. Dee throws a nice inside leg kick. Danger takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Dee looks to land a body kick but Danger moved away. Danger moves out of range as Dee throws a body kick.
This has been an exciting period of action! Danger jabs Dee to the body, keeping him at a distance. Danger darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Danger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dee lands with a nice body punch. Dee scores with a nice head shot. Dee misses with a body kick. Dee misses with a few strikes there.

Dee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Danger's waist but Danger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dee off to one side. Danger throws a jab when Dee was well out of range. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dee slips under a jab from Danger. Danger lands a body shot.
Dee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Danger. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tweedle Dee dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Danger swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Dee throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Danger tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dee is in Danger's guard. Danger pulls Dee in close to prevent any damage. Dee wants to control from the top but Danger keeps moving. Dee passes Danger's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Danger avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dee. Danger trying to control here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Danger works his way to full guard. Good work. Danger keeping moving, preventing Dee from controlling successfully. Dee stands up over Danger, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Dee postures up in Danger's guard and throws a big left but Danger blocks it. Danger seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Dee slips nicely into half guard. Dee tries to pass the half guard into mount. Danger knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Danger is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Danger gets full guard. Dee is in close to Danger's body, working some short punches and elbows. Dee postures up.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dee throwing strikes but missing. Dee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Danger has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Danger utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dee pushing down on Danger's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Tweedle Dee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dee is looking to take a break and control but Danger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Danger is doing well to control the position and prevent Dee from advancing to side control. Dee is thwarting Danger's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Danger blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dee. Dee is looking to advance position but Danger won't allow it. Danger is looking to control Dee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Danger avoid being mounted? Danger wants to get back to full guard. Danger works his way to full guard. Good work. Dee postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Danger has control of Dee's left arm, preventing Dee from doing any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Carlos Danger. A lazy left from Danger finds it's target. Dee slips under a jab. Danger misses with a hook. Dee cracks the inside of Danger's front leg. Danger takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crunch! Dee slams his shin into Danger's torso. Danger uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dee has time to react. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A shot to the body from Danger misses and Dee counters with a good low kick that Danger was not able to check. Dee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Danger.

Nope, Danger circles away and we're back to standing. Dee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Danger. That did some damage! A swing and a miss from Danger. Dee misses the shot to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Dee throwing shots but Danger is blocking nicely. Danger holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Tweedle Dee showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
