The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diagana walks into a straight right hand from Raptor.
It looks like Alberto Diagana has been cut. Diagana takes a swing at Raptor's ribcage but misses. Diagana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Raptor paws at him with a jab and circles away. Diagana takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Diagana is rocked! Diagana fails in his attempt to clinch. Oh Diagana is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Diagana goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Diagana seems to have got his legs back now. Diagana throws a sloppy head kick and Raptor moves out of range easily. Raptor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diagana looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oh, that's a big right hand from Raptor and Diagana goes tumbling to the canvas! Raptor follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. Raptor lands strikes from half guard. Raptor lands a big elbow - Diagana is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Raptor!

Brown tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Aldo smiles and moves away.
Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Aldo sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Aldo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brown connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Aldo stuffs the takedown attempt from Brown. Brown gets slowly back to his feet. Aldo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nice takedown defense from Aldo. No joy for Brown on that attempt. Brown keeps the fight on the outside. Brown avoids the head kick by Aldo.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Aldo defends it well. Brown is keen to just control but Aldo is a slippery customer. Brown is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Aldo has managed to free his arm - good work. Aldo wants to get back to his feet. Brown controlling the action here. Brown wants to control but Aldo is keeping him busy. Brown looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Aldo is trying to stand back up but Brown is controlling him
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Brown avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Aldo. Brown shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aldo's guard. Aldo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Brown uses it to pass to side control.
Brown trying to control the action but Aldo is working from the bottom. Aldo is looking to regain half guard here but Brown keeps moving and retains side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Brown has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
