The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baba tries to keep at a distance but Suck has taken the fight into the clinch. Baba throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Baba scores with a nice hook to the head. Baba lands with a left to the head. Baba prevents the takedown attempt.
Baba has Suck pushed against the cage. Baba softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Baba's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Good exchange - Baba coming out on top.
Suck is rocked!
It looks like You Suck has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Baba lands an uppercut, right on the button! Suck tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edgar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Joaquin sprawls well initially but Edgar persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Joaquin striking from the bottom. Edgar blocks the strikes from Joaquin.
Joaquin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Edgar not landing any meaningful shots this time. Joaquin missing with punches from the bottom.
Edgar throwing shots but Joaquin is blocking nicely. Joaquin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Edgar pulls his head out easily. Edgar is taking a breather. Joaquin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cote paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cote quickly recovers to half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jones throwing shots but Cote is blocking nicely. Jones is pressing down on Cote's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cote is holding on for now. Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
