With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Barnett!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Francis DeMontford and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hymen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barnett throws out the jab.
Hymen tries to score with a low kick but Barnett moves his leg out of the way.

Barnett clinches with his opponent.

Barnett pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hymen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Barnett slips a jab from Hymen.
Hymen looks to throw the jab but Barnett is out of range.
Hymen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Barnett cracks Hymen with a good jab.

It looks like Buster Hymen has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barnett tries to clinch there but Hymen circles away.
Barnett has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hymen.
Barnett takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Josh Barnett has been cut.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hymen.
Buster Hymen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hymen looks to throw the jab but Barnett is out of range.
Hymen lands a jab-cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hymen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Barnett misses with a left hand

and Hymen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Barnett! Hymen lets Barnett back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Barnett is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hymen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Barnett is still on wobbly legs! Can Hymen finish him?
Barnett looks winded!
Hymen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Barnett seems to have recovered his senses.
Hymen is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Barnett flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Barnett is out cold! Hymen holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
