Boykin cracks Hovi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hovi leaves Boykin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hovi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hovi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boykin.
Boykin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hovi defends well and Boykin ends up having to push Hovi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tarmo Hovi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dimentiy Boykin.
