Snuka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cid sprawls well. Cid wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Snuka gets slowly back to his feet.

Cid feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Snukas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but Jimmy Snuka did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

Snuka walks into a stiff left hand from Cid.
Cid lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Snuka swings for the body but Cid moves out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cid.
Cid uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Snuka has time to react.

Snuka is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Cid! Snuka is out on his feet! Cid rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Snuka is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Snuka is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
