Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bam Bam Bang Bang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Douglas Magamedov! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bang Bang cracks Magamedov with a right hand to the side of the head. Magamedov needs to keep his hands up - Bang Bang had a free shot at his head there. Bang Bang throws a right and a left that both miss. Good standup being displayed there by Bang Bang as he connects with a hook. Bang Bang cracks Magamedov with an open hand slap. Bang Bang scores with a jab to the jaw. Magamedov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action! Bang Bang misses with the combination.
Magamedov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bang Bang did well to prevent Magamedov getting side control. Magamedov passes to side control. Magamedov is working to tighten his grip on Bang Bang's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bang Bang has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Magamedov is really squeezing tight and eventually Bang Bang passes out! Magamedov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
