The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Lockheart 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lockheart tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pierce defends well and Lockheart ends up having to push Pierce into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lockheart on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Pierce lands a nice shot that snaps Lockheart's head back.

so Lockheart counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've been hearing good reports from Lockheart's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

I think Ares might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Battle cry. On his way into the cage it seems that Mikey Ares has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mikey Ares seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

A less than humble Kayan Imamov misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Beast cracks Rynn on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Rynn falls backwards against the cage. Beast follows up with more strikes that drop Rynn to his knees. Beast keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rynn! This one is all over!
