Merryweather kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sabaton - Carolus Rex. John Merryweather looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

A big right from Pabisz misses.
Pabisz has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Merryweather is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Pabisz throws a body punch but Merryweather moves out of range.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pabisz has eaten all the pies!
Pabisz throws a hook to the side of Merryweather's head but Merryweather sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Merryweather went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Pabisz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Merryweather doesn't seem bothered though.
A lazy left from Pabisz finds it's target.
Merryweather goes for a double leg but Pabisz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pabisz continues to drive forward.
Merryweather has been working on his balance at MMA Sanok Training Center, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Pabisz.
Pabisz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Pabisz throws a looping overhand right but Merryweather ducks down to avoid it.
