Martin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gracie lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Gracie throws a right hand that Martin ducks under and follows up with a left that Martin also avoids with ease.
No joy there for Gracie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lyov Kirijenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Butikol throws a head kick but Kirijenko moves out of range.

Kirijenko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Butikol circles away quickly and effectively.

Butikol has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Butikol lands a big uppercut and Kirijenko crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kirijenko looks OK. Butikol waves Kirijenko back to his feet!

Butikol has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kirijenko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Butikol is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kirijenko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Butikol with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Butikol is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kirijenko pulls his head out easily.
Kirijenko passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Butikol!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Enting Butikol will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nice sprawl there from Butikol as Kirijenko shoots in.

Kirijenko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kirijenko lands in his opponent's guard.

Kirijenko has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Butikol to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kirijenko is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Butikol pulls down on the head and he's put Kirijenko to sleep! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Enting Butikol thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Jong lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jong fakes the leg kick and cracks Yuudai in the body.
Yuudai takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Kenta Yuudai has been cut.
Yuudai throws a body shot but no joy.
Yuudai throws a jab when Jong was well out of range.
Yuudai blocks a head kick by Jong.

Jong lands a big head kick that sends Yuudai tumbling to the mat! Jong takes a step backwards and waves Yuudai back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jong tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Jong lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Yuudai head around and knocks him out cold! Jong hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kim Jong!
