3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darren Koscielny! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kurt Wagner! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koscielny looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wagner is fending him off so far but Koscielny persists. Nope, Wagner circles away and we're back to standing. Wagner tries to bum rush Koscielny with a series of wild strikes but Koscielny uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wagner scores with a punch to the head. Koscielny doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Wagner swinging wildly here.
Jab by Wagner. Wagner lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A head kick misses from Wagner. Koscielny drops his hands momentarily and Wagner takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koscielny is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wagner ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Wagner stuffs the takedown attempt from Koscielny. Koscielny gets slowly back to his feet. Koscielny shoots in but Wagner avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Koscielny. That's going to take a lot out of him. Koscielny fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wagner appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Koscielny is rocked! Koscielny bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Wagner comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Koscielny falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Koscielny was out before he hit the floor!

15 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Sai Fukuta! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ron Honeybunn and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fukuta throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Aoki counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Aoki . Aoki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fukuta is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Aoki , into his guard. Aoki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fukuta is one step ahead there. Aoki is looking for a triangle but Fukuta pushes his legs off easily.
Fukuta tries to stand but Aoki is controlling from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fukuta got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aoki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fukuta has managed to get both his arms back between Aoki 's legs - danger averted. Fukuta trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Aoki utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fukuta trying to control the position from guard on top but Aoki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aoki definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fukuta pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Aoki is keeping the position for now. Fukuta trying to control the position from guard on top but Aoki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fukuta has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Aoki is proving hard to escape from. Aoki is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Fukuta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Aoki moves out of range of the body kick from Fukuta.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fukuta shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Aoki has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Fukuta is on him like a limpet, forcing Aoki back against the cage. Aoki prevents a body shot from Fukuta. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Aoki can't get the takedown.
Aoki is trying to drag Fukuta to the mat but Fukuta just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Fukuta prevents Aoki from breaking the clinch. Fukuta struggles to land a body shot inside as Aoki controls his hands.
Fukuta's coach down at Extreme Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fukuta's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Fukuta pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fukuta moves in looking to clinch but Aoki pushes him off. Aoki shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinya Aoki . That's going to take a lot out of him. Fukuta misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fukuta throws a nice looking combination but Aoki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Fukuta will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Aoki tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fukuta defends well and Aoki ends up having to push Fukuta into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A nice leg kick lands there from Fukuta. Fukuta throws a series of punches but Aoki avoids them all with ease. Fukuta looks to land a combination. Aoki sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Shinya Aoki has been cut. Aoki looks to land a right hand but Fukuta moved out of range. Jab by Aoki . Fukuta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fukuta tries to clinch up but Aoki circles away and keeps his distance. Fukuta misses with a few strikes there.
Aoki was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. This has been an exciting period of action! Fukuta throws a right and a left that Aoki avoids nicely. Fukuta decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Fukuta seems to be working for a kimura but Aoki defends the submission attempt. Fukuta seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Fukuta goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Aoki does a handstand and catches Fukuta in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Aoki on top - Fukuta is already out from the submission! Aoki gives Fukuta's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Canthropus. Canthropus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kochanowski. Kochanowski goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Kochanowski has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Canthropus throws a head kick that misses. Kochanowski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Canthropus. A head kick misses from Canthropus. Kochanowski scores with a hook to the body. Canthropus takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kochanowski dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Canthropus throws a body kick despite being completely out of range enabling Kochanowski to counter with a crisp jab. Canthropus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kochanowski throws out the jab. Kochanowski checks the leg kick. Canthropus moves away from the strike by Kochanowski. He's got his arms around Canthropus's waist but Canthropus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kochanowski off to one side. Pithe Canthropus seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kochanowski ducks under a wild hook from Canthropus. Kochanowski seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Kochanowski throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Canthropus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The fight stays on the outside here - Kochanowski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Canthropus takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Canthropus in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Kochanowski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Canthropus wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Kochanowski pushes Canthropus away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Canthropus gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kochanowski is trying to get back to half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kochanowski manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Canthropus wants to control but Kochanowski is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Canthropus trying to control from Kochanowski's half guard. Kochanowski has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Kochanowski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Canthropus stays in close to Kochanowski's body and controls the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Pithe Canthropus is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Canthropus throws a chopping leg kick but Kochanowski manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kochanowski is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Canthropus misses with a series of wild punches.
Canthropus keeps the fight on the outside. Kochanowski takes one on the button. A shot to the body from Canthropus misses and Kochanowski counters with a left and a right that stings Canthropus. Kochanowski connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kochanowski tries to close the distance and clinch but Canthropus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Janek Kochanowski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Canthropus scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kochanowski doesn't seem bothered though. Kochanowski thows a leg kick but Canthropus checks it and Canthropus counters with a stiff right hand. A combination from Canthropus does no damage. Kochanowski appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Kochanowski slips a jab from Canthropus. Canthropus misses with the combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kochanowski fails in his attempt to clinch. Kochanowski throws a lazy right hand but Canthropus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Canthropus shapes to counter with a head kick. Kochanowski blocks a low kick nicely. Canthropus moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Canthropus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Canthropus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Canthropus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kochanowski's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Pithe Canthropus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Canthropus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khalifa tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kochanowski defends well and Khalifa ends up having to push Kochanowski into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kochanowski throws a big counter combination but Khalifa scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Kochanowski throws a right hand that Khalifa ducks under and follows up with a left that Khalifa also avoids with ease. Khalifa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kochanowski counters with a low kick, right behind Khalifa 's knee. Khalifa throws a series of punches but Kochanowski moves out of range. Regan throws a combination that misses and Kessler counters with a right hand to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Shields takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Shields takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Jake Shields has been cut. Whitecoat lands with a nice body punch. Shields gets tackled into the cage by Whitecoat. Whitecoat maintains the clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shields changes levels and goes for a takedown here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pol stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A leg kick checked by Pol. Vimes gets tackled into the cage by Pol. Pol maintains the clinch. Pol keeps control of Vimes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Pol keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Vimes's efforts to push away. Pol makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Vimes lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Vimes manages to break the clinch.

Pol decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
