Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Branden Wooster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wooster comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu-Jitsu Song. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Branden Wooster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Felipe Muller! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muller throws a right and a left that both miss. Wooster drops down looking for a counter takedown but Muller sprawls and moves away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Wooster shoots in but Muller avoids the takedown attempt easily. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Muller! But no joy. Nice defenses there by Wooster. Muller moves out of range of the strikes. A little jabbing left from Muller on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wooster staying out of range there. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wooster.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Muller throws out a counter right but Wooster avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Branden Wooster. That's going to take a lot out of him. Muller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wooster. Muller throws out a counter right but Wooster avoids it with no problem. Muller throws a jab when Wooster was well out of range. Wooster is trying hard to land a takedown here. Muller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Muller now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Wooster ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Muller moves away.

and Wooster counters with a nice double leg into guard. Muller has control of Wooster's left arm, preventing Wooster from doing any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Muller can do anything to dispel that myth. Wooster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Muller swivels though and keeps the full guard. Muller keeping moving, preventing Wooster from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muller keeping full guard, as Wooster tries to pass. Wooster stays in close to Muller's body and controls the position. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Muller scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Wooster manages to mount him!

Muller prevents Wooster from taking his back. Muller wants to hold on but Wooster pushes him away. Wooster throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Muller tries to buck Wooster off but he can't manage it. Muller is desperately trying to improve his position but Wooster has a good base and remains in mount. Wooster throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Muller looks to land a right hand but Wooster moved out of range. Wooster half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Wooster will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Muller misses with a left hand and Wooster decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Muller's guard. Wooster passes into half guard. Wooster is looking to advance position but Muller won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wooster is trying to control. Muller wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Muller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Muller preventing the sweep. Wooster is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Muller is aware though and is defending well. Muller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wooster escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Muller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muller won't allow Wooster to sweep him here. Wooster is looking for a triangle but Muller pushes his legs off easily.

Wooster is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Muller is aware though and is defending well. Muller scoring with punches to the head and body. Muller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wooster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Muller is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Muller is working away from the top position though. Wooster tries to get to full guard but Muller has control of the leg. Muller is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Muller misses with a straight right. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Muller rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wooster moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wooster attempts a counter takedown but Muller avoids it well and moves away. Wooster displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Muller throws out the jab. Wooster changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Wooster fails with a takedown attempt. No luck for Wooster with that takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Muller throws a hook to the side of Wooster's head but Wooster sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Muller might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Wooster keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
