Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Attack fails with an attempt to clinch.
Deathgrip seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Attack takes a jab right on the kisser.
Shark Attack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deathgrip stuffs the takedown attempt from Attack. Attack gets slowly back to his feet.
Deathgrip went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Attack throws a sloppy head kick

so Deathgrip counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Attack scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Attack looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A head kick misses from Attack.
Attack swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Deathgrip counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Deathgrip stuffs the takedown attempt from Attack. Attack gets slowly back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Attack shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Deathgrip to counter with a crisp jab.
Trapp Deathgrip has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shark Attack.
Deathgrip scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Deathgrip throws a nice looking combination but Attack bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Deathgrip enables Attack to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Deathgrip manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Attack has gone for a leg lock! Deathgrip slips out almost immediately though and dives into Attack's guard.

Deathgrip seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Attack has recovered full guard.
Attack is looking to stand up but Deathgrip isn't so interested in that idea.

Deathgrip postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Attack is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Deathgrip, into his guard.


Deathgrip is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Attack is aware though and is defending well.
Attack lands a couple of elbows.
Attack is working Deathgrip over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Attack drops back looking for a leg! Deathgrip is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Deathgrip manages to kick Attack off! Attack jumps back into Deathgrip's guard.
Oh Deathgrip is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Deathgrip has momentary wrist control but Attack slips an elbow through the middle.
Attack loads up on a big left hand. Deathgrip felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Attack looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Deathgrip can't hide his disappointment, as Attack celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shark Attack!
In his post fight interview, Shark Attack started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
