The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A nice leg kick lands there from Rad. An inside leg kick lands from Rad. Thomas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jab, jab by Rad - just one landing. Rad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rad throws the kick towards the body but Thomas avoids it. Thomas throws the kick towards the body but Rad avoids it. Rad misses with a hook. A jab from Thomas misses. Thomas lands a jab to the head.

Clay Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rad lets loose with a powerful body kick. Thomas will feel that in the morning. Rad throws the left hand but Thomas avoids the punch easily. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rad throws a body kick that misses. Thomas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Thomas is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Thomas leaves Rad with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Thomas lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Thomas throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Clay Thomas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Thomas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thomas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kickin Rad. I think Rad has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hitzlsperger is not content to let Binse control the position. Hitzlsperger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Roxton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bueno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Roxton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Roxton feints and as Bueno raises his hands in defense, Roxton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bueno looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Crowe trying to control the position from guard on top but De Noteboom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. De Noteboom has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. De Noteboom is looking to sweep but instead, Crowe has passed into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. De Noteboom has Crowe pulled in close to control his posture. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. De Noteboom bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crowe's guard. De Noteboom throwing strikes from guard but Crowe blocks nicely. And that's the end of the fight! Robert De Noteboom comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think De Noteboom has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
