The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flannery shoots in looking for a takedown but Adams manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Flannery's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Flannery misses with an uppercut. Adams saw that one coming. Adams is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Flannery. Flannery throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruttz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ishii on his heels. He'll look to pass Ishii's guard now, I'm sure. Bruttz with a flurry of punches that miss. Bruttz postures up in Ishii's guard and throws a big left but Ishii blocks it. Bruttz throws a big right hand that misses. Bruttz trying to control the position from guard on top but Ishii is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ishii really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bruttz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bruttz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bruttz throws an elbow that misses. Ishii uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bruttz's guard. Nice move by Ishii! Bruttz trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bruttz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ishii gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bruttz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ishii can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bruttz is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ishii rolls with it to try and escape but Bruttz cranks on the arm and Ishii is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

And Gastelum tries to counter it with a takedown but Wooten pushes his down on his head and steps out. Gastelum lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wooten circles away quickly and effectively. Gastelum misses with a body shot.

He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gastelum and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Wooten lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gastelum backs up against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A short right hand to the side of the head by Derksen. Nice elbow from Derksen. Derksen pushes Balagan back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Balagan wants a takedown.
Derksen works on Balagan's body with a couple of short punches. Derksen lands a vicious elbow to the side of Balagan's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Derksen tries to finish him with strikes but Balagan still seems able to defend himself so Derksen steps back and lets Balagan get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game. Derksen flashes Balagan a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Balagan's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Balagan crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Derksen punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
