2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marjorie Dawes! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawes is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in RIck's half guard. Dawes sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. RIck defending well though. Dawes winds up and cracks RIck with a swinging punch to the side of the head. RIck trying to hold on to Dawes's head to control him but Dawes postures up.
RIck wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dawes is working for a submission of some sort.
Dawes is trying to work for a kimura but RIck is defending well.

I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. RIck is staying active underneath Dawes, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Turner has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Gold blocks the body kick.

Turner throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Gold on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Turner wants to land a leg kick but Gold is out of range. Gold pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Turner misses with a wild combination.

Gap Turner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turner drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gold looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gold looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gold! Turner is trying to escape the position but Gold is controlling the position.

Gold tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. You can see the frustration on Turner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Turner tries to bench press Gold off him but Gold keeps the position. Turner is trying to escape the position but Gold is controlling the position. Darius Gold has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Turner is looking for a sweep. Well,Gold is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes? Gold trying to control the position but Turner is working away. Turner tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Turner tries to buck Gold off but Gold is having none of it. Turner is still trying to improve position. Turner throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Turner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gold but Gold pushes him off and we're back to square one. Darius Gold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gap Turner. Turner throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner lands with an overhand left. Gold on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Turner. Turner obviously looking to wear him down.
Gold goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Gold turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Gold doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Gold just misses with a punch to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Turner. Gold connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Gold takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A good leg kick by Turner. Darius Gold is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gold throws a push kick but Turner slaps the foot to one side. Turner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gold as he jumps to the side. Gold throws a looping overhand right but Turner ducks down to avoid it. Gold pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Turner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gold avoids it really well and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Darius Gold. Well Turner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Rick! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rick swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ward. Rick with a hook. Rick throws a looping overhand right but Ward ducks down to avoid it. Rick gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ward misses with the head strike.
Rick lands with a right to the head. Ward tries to pull guard but Rick holds him up against the cage and eventually Ward drops back down to his feet.
Rick lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ward backwards. Rick makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Rick is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Ward gets control of Rick's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ward will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ward is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ward looking for a triangle here. Rick is fighting it but it looks tight! Ward pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Rick is tapping out - this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mangrove misses with a wild body shot. Mangrove moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Mangrove misses with an attempted mid kick.
Mangrove gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mangrove just misses with a elbow thrown towards OToole's brow. OToole takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Knuckles OToole has been cut. Mangrove swings wildly with an uppercut but OToole uses good head movement to avoid it. A short left from Mangrove. OToole tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mangrove's elbow. Mangrove lands a damaging elbow. Mangrove fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

This has been an exciting period of action! Mangrove lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Mangrove lands an elbow inside. Mangrove lands an elbow that stopped OToole in his tracks for a moment.
That has opened up Knuckles OToole's cut even more.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mangrove lands an elbow that stopped OToole in his tracks for a moment.
Knuckles OToole's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Mangrove lands an elbow just above OToole 's eye. Mangrove lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Mangrove throws a punch but it's blocked by OToole. Mangrove misses with a hook from the clinch. A short left from Mangrove.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Knuckles OToole's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rick shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cyborg sprawls well. Cyborg wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rick gets slowly back to his feet. Rick uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cyborg.
Cyborg smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Little Rick has been cut. Cyborg stuns Rick with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Rick shoots in for a double leg but Cyborg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cyborg fails to land with a series of punches.

Horrible takedown attempt by Rick or perhaps it was just good defense by Cyborg, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Little Rick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cyborg defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rick. Cyborg looks like he wants to counter punch here. Cyborg throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A jab from Cyborg misses. Rick changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Rick walks straight into a right hand from Cyborg - that's dropped him! Cyborg jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rick from any more punishment! Rick complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Cris Cyborg! During a confident post fight interview, Cris Cyborg thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bush with a poor takedown and Bueller holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bush has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bueller is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bueller's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Bush is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bueller is defending well. Ferris Bueller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JJ Bush. A right hand to the body from Bueller.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corrigan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Golovkin's guard. Corrigan passes easily into side control. Nice work. Golovkin struggling a bit here. Corrigan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Corrigan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Corrigan trying to control the position but Golovkin is working away. Golovkin tries to bench press Corrigan off him but Corrigan keeps the position. Corrigan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Golovkin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Golovkin tries to bench press Corrigan off him but Corrigan keeps the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Golovkin is looking for a sweep. Corrigan trying to control the position but Golovkin is working away. Corrigan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Corrigan tries to advance to mount but Golovkin denies him. Corrigan trying to control the action but Golovkin is working from the bottom.

Golovkin is looking for a sweep. Corrigan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Golovkin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Golovkin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Corrigan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Golovkin manages to get back to half guard. Corrigan in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Golovkin tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Corrigan!
