Howard moves forwards but Rodenbucher connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Jens Howard has been cut.
Howard fails to land the takedown.

Rodenbucher slips under a jab.
Rodenbucher throws a right hand that Howard ducks under and follows up with a left that Howard also avoids with ease.
Rodenbucher has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Rodenbucher swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Howard.
Howard slips a jab and a cross from Rodenbucher.

Smith tries to move into range but Morello moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Morello circles away.
Morello misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A jab from Morello finds it's way through Smith's defenses.

Morello darts in and clinches Smith up against the cage.
Morello lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Smith to his knees! Morello keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Tim Morello spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Ciz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Why Test closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ciz circles away.
George Ciz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dre Why Test.

Why Test closes the distance and clinches.

Irving throws a combination. Ringwald tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Ringwald swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Irving ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ringwald moves away.
Irving fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Irving steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ringwald.
Irving scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ringwald doesn't seem bothered though.
Ringwald tries to bum rush Irving with a series of wild strikes but Irving uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A little jabbing left from Irving on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Irving uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Irving feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ringwald sprawling to the canvas! Ringwald rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Irving finish him?!

Ringwald is rocked!
Irving lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ringwald up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Irving from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ringwald's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Philo Beddoe.
