1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Nelson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decent striking displayed by Maddox there. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nelson is defended easily by Maddox. Maddox appears to be looking for a big counter. Maddox throws a jab but it's blocked by Nelson. Maddox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nelson moves away.
Maddox drops Nelson with a beautiful combination! Nelson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Maddox is looking for the KO!
 Nelson is rocked!
 It looks like Rock Nelson has been cut. Maddox has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Alfalfa Meal in the buildup to the fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nelson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Maddox sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nelson is still on wobbly legs! Can Maddox finish him? Maddox misses the shot to the body. Maddox lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Maddox thows a left - swing and a miss! Nelson gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Maddox gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Nelson is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marc Maddox! An out of breath Marc Maddox thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pyrrhus Epirus! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aliev moves in looking to clinch but Epirus pushes him off. Epirus is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Aliev closes the distance and clinches. Still in the clinch, Aliev scores with a nice short uppercut.
Epirus manages to break the clinch.
Aliev shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Epirus counters with a head kick. That will keep Aliev thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Aliev wants to clinch up but Epirus keeps it at a distance. Aliev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Epirus counters with a flying knee. Nice. Aliev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Epirus paws at him with a jab and circles away. Epirus raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Sultan Aliev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aliev loads up on a big right hand but Epirus slips the punch. Aliev fails in his attempt to clinch. We've been hearing reports that Aliev has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Epirus circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Aliev looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Aliev shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Epirus sprawls well. Epirus wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aliev gets slowly back to his feet.

Epirus gets control of Aliev's arms and successfully pulls guard. Epirus will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Aliev throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Aliev is in close to Epirus's body, working some short punches and elbows. Epirus has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Aliev should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Epirus has tightened it up now! Aliev should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. War shoots in but no luck this time. Fedder stuffs the takedown attempt from War. War gets slowly back to his feet. War shoots in for a takedown but Fedder shows good takedown defense. Fedder tries to counter by moving into the clinch but War manages to circle out of the way. Run Fedder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stop War. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. War fails to land the takedown. Fedder wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

War is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. War trying to advance position but Fedder counters by regaining guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Run Fedder will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Arlovski avoids it this time. Chuckhaven tries to bum rush Arlovski with a series of wild strikes but Arlovski uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Chuckhaven walks into a left hand.
 It looks like Paul Chuckhaven has been cut. Arlovski throws a hook but Chuckhaven avoids it easily. Arlovski cracks a nice hook into Chuckhaven's ribs. Arlovski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Arlovski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Arlovski misses the shot to the body. 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terrence Funk! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Funk tries for a takedown but Aldo circles away easily and Aldo counters with a lovely straight right hand! Funk misses with a takedown attempt and Aldo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've been told by Aldo's head coaches at El Tico 's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Aldo gets tackled into the cage by Funk. Funk maintains the clinch. Funk lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Aldo backwards. Funk tries for a takedown but Aldo manages to get underhooks.
Bruised Rib Aldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terrence Funk. Funk is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Funk tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Aldo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Khaliev, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moreira misses with a looping left. Moreira slips a jab from Momochi . Moreira moves to clinch but Momochi breaks away

Momochi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Momochi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Momochi has knee on belly and moves into mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
