I think Wills might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman . Fellows is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Last day - Raised fist. The key to victory for Joe Wills has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bryce Fellows! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wills dives in for a single leg takedown but Fellows sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Fellows scores with a jab to the head.
Wills gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fellows controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wills will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fellows drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wills dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wills throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fellows works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wills loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Wills postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fellows working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wills doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wills manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wills preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fellows has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wills can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fellows has a closed guard, preventing Wills from standing up. Wills trying to control the position from guard on top but Fellows is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wills avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fellows controls Wills momentarily but Wills frees himself. Wills working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wills passes into half guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Wills thows a huge punch but Fellows dodges it nicely.

Wills stands up from Fellows's guard - Wills perhaps looking for a knockout. Wills closes the distance and pushes Fellows back into the cage. Fellows manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Wills has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fellows preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wills stands up from Fellows's guard - Wills perhaps looking for a knockout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wills. And Fellows responds with a good body kick, but Wills manages to step out the way in time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fellows. Wills sneaks out the side door and pushes Fellows away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Joe Wills seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wills takes the fight into the clinch. Wills jumps guard and drags Fellows to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Fellows stops Wills from standing up. Wills really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wills controls Fellows momentarily but Fellows frees himself. Fellows passes easily into side control. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fellows drives through with a takedown into Wills's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Wills is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Fellows dives into side control.

Fellows keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fellows has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wills is working away from the top position though.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jab from Wills. Wills shoots in for a takedown but Fellows shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fellows closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wills did well to prevent Fellows getting side control. Fellows is breathing heavily. Fellows is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Wills reverses the position - he's now on top in Fellows's guard. Fellows avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Fellows presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Fellows takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fellows works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Wills has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Fellows off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wills fails with a takedown attempt. Wills fails in his attempt to clinch. Fellows shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wills napping and manages to drive through into side control! Wills is looking to get back to his feet here but Fellows is keeping cool and he's managed to take Wills's back. Joe Wills overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wills accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wills trying to control the position from guard on top but Fellows is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fellows had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wills defends it easily. Fellows looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fellows throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Wills escapes and throws Fellows's legs to the side, diving into side control!
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Wills showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wills, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Richie Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Antonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richie Carter had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Carter. Those never looked like landing. Carter looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Antonov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Antonov cracks the inside of Carter's front leg. Antonov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Carter's sensitive parts. Antonov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Antonov's coach down at Madz **21 Elite coaches** was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Antonov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Antonov lands a head kick. Carter smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Antonov plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Antonov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Richie Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carter scores with a three punch combo!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Antonov cracks the inside of Carter's front leg. Decent striking displayed by Antonov there. Antonov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Antonov connects with a looping right hand.

Carter is rocked! Antonov throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Carter crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Striker takes the fight into the clinch. Mukhtar is trying to force a seperation but Striker has the dominant position. Mukhtar is trying to break the clinch but Striker is controlling him. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Striker. Striker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mukhtar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. No luck for Striker with that takedown attempt. Mukhtar is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Striker fails with the takedown and Mukhtar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Striker jabbing away but nothing is landing. Striker takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Deni Mukhtar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mukhtar dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mukhtar clobbers Striker with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Striker tries a head kick but it misses.

Mukhtar circles away from the clinch attempt and Mukhtar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Striker is looking to clinch but Mukhtar is avoiding it.
A low kick from Mukhtar misses and Striker counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Striker works on Mukhtar's body with a couple of short punches. Mukhtar blocks an elbow strike from Striker.

Striker lands with a right to the head. Mukhtar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Mukhtar has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Striker tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mukhtar avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mukhtar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matata throws a chopping leg kick but Coyoca manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Matata throws a left and a right that both miss
and Coyoca decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Matata's guard. Coyoca cracks Matata with a solid left hand. Coyoca postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Coyoca postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Coyoca working some strikes from top position. We've been hearing that Coyoca has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Coyoca is in close to Matata's body, working some short punches and elbows.
