The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Junior looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Junior misses with a takedown attempt
and Boyka makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Boyka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Junior sprawls well. Junior wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boyka gets slowly back to his feet.
Boyka stalks Junior and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Junior's face. Junior staggers backwards, shaken.

Boyka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Junior looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

McDougal shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Van Clausen as he jumps to the side.

Van Clausen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McDougal but McDougal pushes him off and we're back to square one.

McDougal shoots in looking for a takedown. Van Clausen tries to sprawl out of it but McDougal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Van Clausen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kesti dives in for a single leg takedown but Rakija sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Kesti changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rakija tries to avoid it but Kesti manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rakija to the ground. Rakija escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
