The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lennon with a body punch. A glancing blow. Sutton tries a head kick but it misses.
Laim Sutton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice cross by Lennon. Sutton pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Lennon moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Laim Sutton has been cut. Sutton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Lennon counter with a right hand. Lennon misses with a body shot
enabling Sutton to counter with a crisp jab. Lennon throws a big shot that misses. Sutton misses with an uppercut. A head kick misses from Sutton. Lennon takes a swing at Sutton's ribcage but misses. Lennon jabs Sutton right on the nose. Sutton blinks but takes it well. This has been an exciting period of action! Good exchange - Lennon coming out on top. Lennon dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Sutton misses with a head kick.

Lennon seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Sutton fails with the takedown and Lennon counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Lennon lands with a shot to the body. Nice body punch from Lennon. A head kick by Sutton misses and Lennon counters with a right hand to the body. Sutton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sutton throws out a loose jab but Lennon uses good head movement to avoid it. Lennon is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A head kick by Sutton misses letting Lennon counter with a right hand. Sutton waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lennon. Lennon moves out of range of the body kick. Lennon swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. A head kick by Sutton misses and Sutton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sutton looks winded! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lennon thuds a left hand into Sutton's body. Sutton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lennon went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Lennon jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

and Lennon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sutton is rocked! Lennon ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Sutton out cold! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Champ shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Reeto's guard. Reeto trying to keep a closed guard but Champ is proving a slippery customer.
Champ thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Champ slips nicely into half guard. Reeto wants to control but Champ is keeping busy.
Champ tries to stand and escape but Reeto is controlling the position. Champ is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Reeto is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Dos Santosh misses. Andonov drives through with a takedown into guard. Andonov looking to pass the guard. Dos Santosh has momentary wrist control but Andonov slips an elbow through the middle. Andonov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dos Santosh on the ground. Andonov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dos Santosh works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dos Santosh wants to sweep but no luck. Dos Santosh controls Andonov momentarily but Andonov frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andonov stops Dos Santosh from standing up. Andonov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dos Santosh looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andonov won't allow Dos Santosh to sweep him here. Andonov working some strikes from top position. Andonov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dos Santosh can't keep his opponent in guard - Andonov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Andonov is thwarting Dos Santosh's attempts to control the position. Dos Santosh might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Andonov haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Andonov stops Dos Santosh from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Andonov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Andonov working Dos Santosh over with strikes. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Andonov connects with a nice short shot to Dos Santosh's temple. Dos Santosh is looking to escape. Andonov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dos Santosh is looking for a sweep. Andonov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Andonov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dos Santosh is just riding it out for now. Andonov eventually gives up the hold. Dos Santosh tries to roll over but Andonov keeps him under control.

Dos Santosh is looking to get back to is feet but Andonov passes into side control.

Andonov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dos Santosh, who protects the arm well. Andonov working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Dos Santosh is rocked! Andonov in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Dos Santosh looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Andonov turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

It connects and Park has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Park changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Park thows a left - swing and a miss! Nicholson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Park misses with a short punch on the inside. Nicholson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nicholson misses with a jab, cross combination.

Park tries to bum rush Nicholson with a series of wild strikes but Nicholson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Zoran Park seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. and Nicholson counters with a crisp one two that drops Park! Nicholson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Park to his feet! Park is in big trouble!

A nice side step and Park releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Nicholson shoots in and drives through. Park sprawls well. Nicholson stuffs the takedown. Nicholson moves into the clinch. Park swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Nicholson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. We've been informed that Park has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Park fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Park misses with a punch to the body.

Park misses the jab. Park throws a leg kick and Nicholson counters with a nice uppercut. Park is still on wobbly legs! Can Nicholson finish him? Park swings widly with a right hand
and Nicholson counters with a nice body shot. Park on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Park with a lazy takedown attempt and Nicholson counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Park has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Geordie Nicholson! Geordie Nicholson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Racer feints the counter takedown. Racer throws a low kick but Mir moves out of range easily. Mir misses with a double jab
and Racer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Racer. Mir has his feet on Racer's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Mir dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mir pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Racer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Racer throws a big shot that misses. Mir connects with a high kick. Racer throws a looping overhand right but Mir ducks down to avoid it. Mir tries to clinch but fails miserably and Racer counters with a nice double leg into guard. Racer landing with the ground and pound. Mir can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Racer controls the pace. Racer is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Racer prevents Mir from getting back to his feet. Racer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Mir being controlled here, momentarily. Racer looks up at the clock and then as Mir takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Racer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Mir manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This has been an exciting period of action! Racer misses with a hook from the clinch. Racer swings wildly with an uppercut but Mir uses good head movement to avoid it. Mir is working for takedown but Racer is calmly controlling the position for now. A shot in the inside from Racer. A short right hand to the side of the head by Racer. Mir misses the jab. Mir shoots in but no luck this time. Racer throws a jab but it's blocked by Mir. Mir tries for a takedown but Racer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Racer drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mir defends it well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Mir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mir closes the distance but Racer moves to the side and Racer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mir's guard. Mir wants to improve his position but instead Racer has moved into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mir has hold of Racer's hands but Racer slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
