Laprise shoots in for a double leg but Garcon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

It looks like Pierre Laprise has been cut.
Laprise has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Laprise fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Garcon avoids it really well and circles away.
Laprise changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Garcon tries to avoid it but Laprise manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Garcon to the ground. Garcon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Garcius's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Garcius was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Wily Swagger decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Method Man was interviewed post fight and said 'Patty cake patty cake hey the Method Man Don't eat Skippy, Jif or Peter Pan Peanut butter, cuz I'm not butter In fact I snap back like a rubber band!'.
