The crowd seem to be enjoying Myres's choice of entrance music: In the End by Linkin Park. Shane Myres told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Larson's coach down at El Tico 's Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Larson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Oooooh!!! Laston has knocked Larson down with a huge combo! Laston steps away and waves a wobbly Larson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Erik Larson has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Laston fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Larson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Larson looks to clinch but Laston throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Larson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Jon Laston decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
