11 - 34 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sangram Singh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rory Styles! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Styles gets caught flat footed, as Singh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Styles is trying to keep Singh in close.
Singh has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Singh works over Styles with some ground and pound from guard. Singh throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Styles works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Singh trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Styles looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Styles working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Singh. Styles is looking for a triangle but Singh pushes his legs off easily.
Styles is trying to hold Singh in close to prevent damage but Singh has managed to pass into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are battling for position here. Styles manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Singh wants to pass the guard but Styles is keeping the position. Singh is posturing up here but Styles has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Singh tries to roll out but it's too tight and Singh has to tap! Slick submission there by Styles!

and Ciprut holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Burgundy stalling the fight.

Burgundy throws a punch but it's blocked by Ciprut. Ciprut tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Ciprut blocks a body shot from Burgundy. Burgundy with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Ciprut throws a head punch that misses. Burgundy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burgundy connects with a solid leg kick. Ciprut chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Burgundy can pounce on him.
Burgundy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ciprut.
Some bone on bone action there as Ciprut checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burgundy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ciprut lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Burgundy at a distance.

It looks like Ron Burgundy has been cut. Burgundy tries to break the clinch but Ciprut is controlling the position. Ciprut looking to slow down the pace here. Burgundy lands an uppercut. Ciprut misses with some punches.
Ciprut pushes Burgundy back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Burgundy misses with a punch to the body.

Ciprut connects with a body shot. Ciprut looks to score with a jab to the body but Burgundy is just out of range. Burgundy moves out of range as Ciprut throws a body kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Burgundy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ciprut. Burgundy misses with a straight right. Ciprut ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Burgundy swinging wildly here.
Ciprut appears to be looking for a big counter. Ciprut fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burgundy manages to avoid it. It seemed like Burgundy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A slapping body kick lands there for Ciprut. A left lands for Burgundy. Burgundy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ciprut tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Ciprut pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Burgundy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ciprut was well out of range. Poor timing from Burgundy. Ciprut looks to score with a jab to the body but Burgundy is just out of range. Ciprut steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Burgundy. As Burgundy tries to get set, Ciprut tries to push him back and clinch up but Burgundy manages to avoid the attempt. Burgundy walks into a left hand. Ciprut tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A low kick from Burgundy is predictable there and Burgundy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Burgundy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ciprut. A telegraphed right hand from Burgundy misses the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burgundy blocks a head kick by Ciprut.

Ciprut lands a nice looking body kick. Ciprut lands with a nice body punch. Burgundy closes the distance and clinches. Ciprut lands a nice shot to the body. Burgundy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ciprut throws a front kick that sends Burgundy stumbling back into the cage. Burgundy connects with an inside leg kick. Burgundy sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Ciprut moves away from the strike by Burgundy. Ciprut wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ciprut connects with a leg kick. Burgundy looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Ciprut dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Burgundy. That did some damage! Ciprut pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Good standup being displayed there by Ciprut as he connects with a hook. Good exchange - Ciprut coming out on top. Ciprut lands an overhand right.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ciprut tries to close the distance and clinch but Burgundy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A slow jab from Ciprut misses its intended target. Burgundy thuds his right hand into Ciprut's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ciprut connects with an inside leg kick. Ron Burgundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circle momentarily. Burgundy darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ciprut is rocked! A head kick misses from Ciprut. Ciprut throws a predictable looking body shot
and Burgundy counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ciprut! Burgundy lets Ciprut back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Oh Ciprut is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Burgundy throws a leg kick but Ciprut sees it coming and checks it nicely. Ciprut swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Burgundy moves into the clinch. Ciprut keeps control of Burgundy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Burgundy dodges an elbow strike from Ciprut.

Ciprut seems to have got his legs back now. Burgundy lands a hook to the side of the head. Ciprut is trying to maintain a safe position but Burgundy gets an underhook and turns Ciprut into the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Burgundy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Burgundy breaks from the clinch.

Burgundy misses with a looping left. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kingsley Ciprut will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ron Burgundy's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Ciprut connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ciprut goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Ciprut tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burgundy was well out of range. Poor timing from Ciprut. Burgundy has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ciprut. Burgundy moves out of range as Ciprut throws a body kick.

It seemed like Burgundy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Burgundy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ciprut avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Burgundy steps in with a hook that catches Ciprut right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Burgundy follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Ciprut looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ron Burgundy! Ron Burgundy gave a mention to Spartan Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gus Beau! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edmodson feints a jab promting Beau to slip. Edmodson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Beau slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Edmodson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Edmodson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beau circles away quickly and effectively. Edmodson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Beau is rocked! Beau pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Beau gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Beau tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Edmodson is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Beau buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Beau!! Beau is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Edmodson throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prime looks to land a left hand but Anderson moved out of range nicely. Prime is looking to chop away at Anderson's legs. Prime motions for Anderson to come forward. Prime throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Anderson! But no joy. Optimus Prime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Prime throws a lazy uppercut
and Anderson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Anderson takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Prime tries to clinch and Anderson counters with a stiff right hand. Prime misses with a hook. Anderson ducked under it nicely. Prime throws the left hand but Anderson avoids the punch easily. A relieved looking Optimus Prime thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
