0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chael Martins! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Fang. Beautiful body shot. Fang gets caught napping as Martins dives in and scores a takedown. Fang manages to retain guard. Martins working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fang's head. Fang looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fang definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fang wants to sweep here but Martins controlling him for the moment. Fang wants to get back to his feet but Martins is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Fang working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Martins. Martins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Martins's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Fang is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Martins is aware though and is defending well. Fang looking to hit a scissor sweep but Martins is one step ahead there. Martins loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Fang lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Martins looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martins is looking to stand up but Fang isn't so interested in that idea. Martins is looking for a triangle but Fang pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Martins throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Martins wants to improve his position but instead Fang has moved into half guard.
Fang tries to stand but can't do so whilst Martins controls his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fang is figuring out what he wants to do next. Fang seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Martins can do anything to dispel that myth. Martins misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Fang is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Martins! Martins tries to hold on but Fang pushes him away.

He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Martins has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fang to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Martins is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fang pulls down on the head and he's put Martins to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dela Rosa lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Wick shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dela Rosa as he avoids it easily. Dela Rosa is looking to counter the offense by Wick and move into the clinch. Dela Rosa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wick manages to avoid it. A decent looking cross lands there for Dela Rosa. Dela Rosa throws a looping overhand right but Wick ducks down to avoid it. Dela Rosa throws an off balance right hand
and Wick counters by clinching up. Dela Rosa doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Dela Rosa is looking to break free of the clinch but Wick has double underhooks. A short body shot lands from Dela Rosa as the two fighters clinch.
Wick is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Dela Rosa can't fight it off and eventually Wick manages to take the fight to the floor. Dela Rosa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wick in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dela Rosa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wick closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dela Rosa circles away.
