The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judge tries to close the distance and clinch but Ghonaay swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And Ghonaay tries to counter it with a takedown but Judge pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Ghonaay throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Judge was covering up waiting for the punch and Ghonaay finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ghonaay forces his way into half guard.
Judge wants to get back to his feet.
Judge tries to get to full guard but Ghonaay has control of the leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ghonaay seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Judge is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Hansen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hansen tries to clinch but Son is having none of it.
Son throws out a counter right but Hansen avoids it with no problem.
Son is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hansen shoots in but Son avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hansen pushes Son up against the cage in a clinch.
Son is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Son escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hansen throws a right hand that Son ducks under and follows up with a left that Son also avoids with ease.
Son changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Son keeps the fight on the outside.
Hansen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Son tries to avoid it but Hansen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Son to the ground. Son escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gorm Hansen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hansen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Son swats him away and circles back towards the center.

As Hansen backs off Son throws a huge counter combo but Hansen manages to avoid it all.

Oh Hansen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gorm Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Son engages and cracks Hansen with a massive lead left hook - Hansen tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Son is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Arellano closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carter did well to prevent Arellano getting side control.
Carter is staying active underneath Arellano, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Arellano is looking for a kimura here.

Arellano thows an elbow strike that misses. Carter gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Arellano doesn't seem too bothered but Carter quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Arellano is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Arellano really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Will shoots in and drives through. Kacper sprawls well.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Will shoots in for a takedown but Kacper shows good takedown defense.

Will is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Will passes Kacper's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Kacper is looking for a sweep. Will is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Will is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kacper is just riding it out for now. Will eventually gives up the hold.

Kacper is refusing to be controlled, as Will sits in half guard.

Kacper throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Will tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kacper is in Will's guard.

Kacper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Will has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kacper has managed to get both his arms back between Will's legs - danger averted.
Will has control of Kacper's left arm, preventing Kacper from doing any damage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jorah Will.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Will, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
