Lion comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My Darkest Hour by Scary Kids Scaring Kids kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Lion fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Strom to the ground. Lion is now in Strom's guard.

Strom has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lion has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Lion wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Strom lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lion backwards.
Strom gets through Lion's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Shankariya seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Shankariya is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Shankariya thuds his right hand into Pope's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Shankariya throws a shot from downtown. Pope moves away and avoids it.

Shankariya lands a big right hand that sends Pope crashing to the mat! Shankariya stays standing though and waves Pope back to his feet!

It looks like Mega Pope has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shankariya lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Pope up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Shankariya from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Pope's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Bleed fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Duncan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Bleed buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Duncan tries for a takedown but Bleed sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bleed lands a glancing blow to the side of Duncan's head.

Kruger seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kruger's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Horse connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kruger scrambles back to his feet.
Kruger lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Horse scores with a jab. Kruger acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kruger looks to land a combination but Horse avoids it well.
Kruger has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Horse finds it's way round the side to connect with Kruger's head.
Horse is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kruger. Horse does a little dance to reset his feet.
Horse takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Horse lands a really nice looking cross but Kruger seems unphased.
Kruger scores with a crisp jab that stopped Horse in his tracks.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Three drops his hands momentarily and Khan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
