Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cjirs Milky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stephenson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Milky manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Stephenson wants to get up but he can't break Milky's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stephenson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Milky is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Milky looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stephenson is one step ahead there.
Milky really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stephenson wanted to stand there but Milky had control of the position.

Milky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stephenson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Stephenson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Milky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Milky wants to control the pace but Stephenson is squirming around nicely.

Milky is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stephenson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Milky shoots in looking for a takedown. Stephenson tries to sprawl out of it but Milky keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stephenson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Milky is looking to cinch up a triangle. Stephenson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Milky's body to avoid the submission. Milky has instead reached around Stephenson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Milky arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Hope looks to land a combination but Kid avoids it well.
The fighters circling - Kid throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Kid lands a nice hook to Hope's body. Hope takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hope on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hope misses with a straight left.
Kid throws out a loose jab but Hope uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hope scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A little feinted left hand from Kid on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

letting Kid counter with a right hand.

Kid lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hope gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hope looks for the body kick but Kid saw that one coming.
Hope throws an off balance right hand
and Kid counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kid misses the jab.
Hope connects with a looping right hand.
Hope clobbers Kid with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kid connects with a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hope throws a poor cross that misses
and Kid connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Hope is rocked!
Kid avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hope is still on wobbly legs! Can Kid finish him?
Hope looks up at the clock. Bad move! Kid lands a right hand from hell, dropping Hope. Kid pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
