The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long moves in looking to clinch but Tran pushes him off.

Tran shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Long manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Tran is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Tran wants to control from the top but Long keeps moving.
Tran tries to free his leg and advance position but Long is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tran scoring with punches to the head and body.

Tran drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Long dives on top into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tran working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Long doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Long manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tran is on top in guard.

After the fight, Robert Tran was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Vandari wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Jeffery is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jeffery is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Vandari couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Klaus Vandari tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
In defeat, Lord Jeffery stepped up to the mic, saying 'Never lose sight of your goal!! a lost can only slow me down but never stop me.'.

Lee takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Drum throws a series of strikes that have Lee backpedaling.
Lee on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The fighters circle momentarily. Drum darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Drum dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lee is still on wobbly legs! Can Drum finish him?
Drum throws a series of punches but Lee avoids them all with ease.
Lee seems to have recovered his senses.
Lee misses with the combination.
Nice takedown defense from Drum. No joy for Lee on that attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Drum does a little dance to reset his feet.
Drum tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Drum.
Lee tries to clinch there but Drum circles away.
Drum rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Drum fails to land with a series of punches.
A punch lands to the side of Lee 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lee throws a right and a left that both miss.
Drum sizes up Lee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Lee dives in for a single leg takedown but Drum sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Drum connects with the punch.
Drum dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lee takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Lee takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
West Drum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rumble Lee.

Drum lands a big uppercut and Lee crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lee looks OK. Drum waves Lee back to his feet!
West Drum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee tries to get into range but Drum steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Lee! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Drum scores the big KO victory!

An out of breath West Drum thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dantes DeKorveia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ellis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Chad VanGaalen - Blonde Hash. Dantes DeKorveia struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him.
