Samus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Jung decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jung wants to pass the guard but Samus is defending well.
Jung passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Samus!
Jung takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jung is looking to work his way around to Samus's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Jung quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Jung but it's paid off an Samus is forced to tap! Nice work by Jung.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Do Hoo Jung!
