I think Putin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead. Lima is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tupac - Hail Mary. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Jonas Putin! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Malaki Lima!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Putin rushes Lima and presses him up against the cage.

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Nice takedown defense from Hines. No joy for Ryan on that attempt.

Ryan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hines is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ryan has hold of Hines's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hines seems comfortable defending it but Ryan has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hines is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hines is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ryan couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Daniel Ryan!
