The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longo lands a lovely overhand right.
Wess throws a lazy head kick

and Longo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Longo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wess backwards.
Wess is trying to break free.
Longo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Wess stalling in the clinch but Longo improves position.
Longo blocks an elbow strike.
Longo working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Wess is fighting off a takedown attempt but Longo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wess to the mat. Wess regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Longo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wess's head.
Longo chips away with some ground and pound.

Longo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Diaz anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Janasen and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Diaz slips an arm under Janasen chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Diaz has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Diaz is squeezing on Janasen like an anaconda would it's prey. Janasen fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
