The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Rigano.
Hales is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hales shoots in for a takedown but Rigano shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hales circles away from the clinch attempt.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braun throws a head kick but Perfect moves out of range.
Perfect with a nice cross.
Perfect tries to clinch up but Braun circles away and keeps his distance.
Braun is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Perfect with a body shot.
Braun ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Perfect throws a low kick but Braun avoids it.
Braun looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Perfect looks to score with a jab to the body but Braun is just out of range.
Perfect connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Perfect fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Braun.
Perfect is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Braun.
Perfect misses with a hook. Braun ducked under it nicely.
Braun looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Braun lands a glancing blow to the side of Perfect's head.
Perfect lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Braun misses with a head kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Braun cracks a nice hook into Perfect's ribs.
Perfect needs to keep his hands up - Braun had a free shot at his head there.
Braun plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Mystery Perfect has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Perfect looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Perfect is rocked!
Perfect throws a nice inside leg kick.
Oh Perfect is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Braun lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Perfect seems to have got his legs back now.
Perfect tries to clinch there but Braun circles away.
Perfect throws a leg kick
and Braun counters with a leg kick.
Braun lands with a kick to the ribs.
Perfect fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Braun is out of range.
Despite the aggression on Braun's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A head kick by Braun misses
and Perfect counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Perfect buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Perfect throws a sloppy head kick
and Braun counters with an outside leg kick.
Braun circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Perfect drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Braun follows Perfect to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bluto Braun!
A relieved looking Bluto Braun thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Mystery Perfect was interviewed post fight and said 'The fight was too easy and boring, and since my opponent looked like he really wanted the W, I thought I'd put on a show and give him the W.The line's getting longer. Better get back to pleasing them single and taken ladies before they go crazy'.
