1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Davies! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ron Honeybunn and Ben Hemmingworth.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davies slips a straight right by Norvac. Davies with the counter takedown but Norvac avoids it easily. Norvac is looking to chop away at Davies's legs. Norvac throws a nice looking combination but Davies bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Norvac moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Davies shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Norvac defends it nicely. A swing and a miss from Norvac. Davies doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Norvac throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Davies with the counter takedown but Norvac avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Norvac enables Davies to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Norvac manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Norvac is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Davies is controlling him.
Davies is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Davies fails with a takedown attempt. Norvac is looking for a counter combo. Davies goes for a double leg but Norvac avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Norvac continues to drive forward. Norvac misses with an uppercut. Davies saw that one coming. Davies shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Norvac sprawls well. Norvac wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Norvac fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davies looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Davies fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Norvac lunges at Davies with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Davies's hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Norvac scores with the left hand. Davies knows he should have avoided that one. Davies fails to land the takedown. Davies takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Norvac drops Davies with a beautiful combination! Davies stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Norvac is looking for the KO! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Davies takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Norvac moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Davies has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Norvac scores with a sloppy right hand. Davies should have avoided that one. Norvac scores with a decent looking hook.

Davies moves forwards but Norvac connects with a nice, crisp jab. Norvac with a body punch. A glancing blow. Davies seems to have recovered his senses. Davies gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Norvac counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Norvac. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Davies being controlled against the cage. Norvac pressing his opponent against the cage. Norvac gets underhooks to prevent Davies's takedown attempt.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left lands for Kosinski. A decent looking cross lands there for Kosinski. Palonesess takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Palonesess shoots for a double leg takedown but Kosinski sprawls well. He's pushed Palonesess's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kosinski lands a nice leg kick that just misses Palonesess's sensitive parts. Kosinski scoring well with a low kick there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kosinski throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Kosinski lands with a kick to the temple. Palonesess shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Palonesess on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kosinski circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Palonesess drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kosinski follows Palonesess to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

A looping hook to the body misses from Truck. Ryan does a little dance to reset his feet. Truck is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ryan. Truck connects with a right hand. Ryan shakes it off. Ryan looks to land a combination but Truck avoids it well.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akharraz tries to clinch but Austin is having none of it. Akharraz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Austin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Austin throws a body shot but no joy. It seemed like Akharraz was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Akharraz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lijikiszcz has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Penn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Lijikiszcz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Penn. It looked like Penn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Lijikiszcz closes the distance and clinches up with Penn, looking for a takedown. Lijikiszcz pushes Penn against the cage but Penn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Lijikiszcz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Lijikiszcz tried to score with a low kick but Penn checks it. Penn with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Penn tries to keep at a distance but Lijikiszcz has taken the fight into the clinch. Penn stalls.

Lijikiszcz has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Penn. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Penn cracks Lijikiszcz with a hook to the jaw.
