The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu throws a series of strikes that have Ross backpedaling.
Ross throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jitsu's waist but Jitsu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ross off to one side.
Jitsu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A head kick misses from Ross.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ross looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jitsu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jitsu moves out of range as Ross throws a body kick.
Ross cracks a nice hook into Jitsu's ribs.
Ross will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jitsu drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ross defends it well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nakamura takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The fighters circling - Werdum throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nakamura takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Werdum feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nakamuras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Shinsuke Nakamura has been cut.
Nakamura avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
