Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Lipinsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reginald Velvet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Nathan Lipinsky has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nathan Lipinsky seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velvet lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lipinsky circles away quickly and effectively.
Lipinsky throwing a counter right hand but Velvet manages to avoid it.
Velvet throws a series of punches but Lipinsky moves out of range.
Velvet throws a combination that misses
and Lipinsky counters with a nice body shot.
Reginald Velvet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Velvet swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A quick step to the side and Lipinsky tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Velvet lands a left and a right that send Lipinsky crashing to the mat, dazed. Velvet thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Nathan Lipinsky has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Velvet connects with a nice cross there... Lipinsky is looking wobbly and Velvet recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Lipinsky to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Velvet jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pack's waist but Pack gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hans Kong.
