The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caciba darts in and clinches Rothwell up against the cage. Caciba looking to throw knees to the head but Rothwell is blocking nicely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Linaker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Thomas Linaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Linaker misses. Linaker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Amoroso to score an easy takedown into full guard. Linaker uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That kick from Amoroso tenderised Linaker's leg. Linaker is trying to keep his angry face on. Linaker lands a nice shot that snaps Amoroso's head back.

Gowing gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Alatalo gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Gowing is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Gracie closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fiso's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Gracie is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fiso avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Fiso defends it easily. Fiso slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fiso gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Royce Gracie will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
