Miilo Nurkkanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nurkkanen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Anielski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nurkkanen somewhat.
Anielski fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've been told by Anielski's head coaches at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Anielski throws a leg kick but Nurkkanen sees it coming and moves out of range.
Anielski bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nurkkanen's head backwards.
Anielski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Anielski leaves Nurkkanen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Nurkkanen told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
