The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Pedro has Odoacer up against the cage in a clinch.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Pedro misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Odoacer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pedro. Pedro controls the action. It looks like Pedro might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Pedro working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills.
