We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Van Acker gets to his feet and stands over Bigsby, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Bigsby felt that one! Van Acker unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Bigsby from any more punishment!

Severn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Severn shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gambino cracks Clegane with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gambino has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Clegane to stand back up!

Clegane drops his hands for a split second and Gambino immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Clegane face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Gambino follows up with a right hand that knocks Clegane into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

As Trap Gambino got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Somebody get this guy to the hospital! I can't believe this is legal!? Ohhhh.. man.. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bozeck closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Abumbu to the mat! Abumbu manages to get full guard.
Abumbu has his hands on Bozeck's head, controlling the position.
Bozeck trying to control the position from guard on top but Abumbu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abumbu has control of Bozeck's left arm, preventing Bozeck from doing any damage.

Bozeck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Abumbu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bozeck scores with a jab. Abumbu acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Ambu Abumbu has been cut.
Abumbu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bozeck paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bozeck throws a low kick, looking for Abumbu's leg but Abumbu calmly moves out of range.
Abumbu throws a head kick that misses
and Bozeck counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Abumbu tries to clinch up but Bozeck circles away and keeps his distance.
Bozeck feints and then cracks Abumbu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Abumbu down.
Bozeck throws an overhand right that has Abumbu reeling! Bozeck follows up with more punches and Abumbu is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brad Bozeck!

Kleynen is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Vinyard is defending well.

Vinyard lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Kleynen to his knees! Vinyard keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Derek Vinyard decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Luc Kleynen spoke after the fight, saying 'I lost against a fighter, who was today better as me, i'll be back stronger !!!'.
