The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bozzi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bozzi ducks under a wild hook from Pope.
Pope throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pope throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bozzi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pope.
Bozzi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pope.
Pope lands with a kick to the ribs.
Bozzi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bozzi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pope connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bozzi scrambles back to his feet.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Michel Teló was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly is looking to land body kicks.
Teló plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Teló fails to land the takedown.

Teló throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Teló feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've been told by Kelly's head coaches at Zero Tolerance that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Gerry Kelly will probably get the nod.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Teló shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kelly's guard.

Kelly has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Teló is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
