Venczel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Venczel scores with a hook.
Venczel misses with a low kick.
Venczel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grishin was well out of range. Poor timing from Venczel.
Venczel throws out a loose jab but Grishin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Grishin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Grishin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Venczel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Marfaker takes a swing at Farrelly's ribcage but misses.
Marfaker scores with the left hand. Farrelly knows he should have avoided that one.
Marfaker cracks Farrelly with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
