The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Handy as Tequila shoots in.
Horrible takedown by Tequila or perhaps it was just good defense by Handy which made him look bad.

Handy gets caught flat footed, as Tequila shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Handy controls Tequila momentarily but Tequila frees himself.
Tequila with a flurry of punches that miss.
Tequila throws a strike but Handy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Tequila is looking for a triangle but Handy pushes his legs off easily.

Tequila has his foot on Handy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Handy works his way back into a safe position though.

Leger is looking to stand up but Vasreovsky isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
