Warner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Simmons walks away with a smile on his face. Warner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Simmons tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Warner just stands there and leans against the cage.

Simmons escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Warner lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Warner shoots in but Simmons avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Silva lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sergeant has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sergeant and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neil Nucombe!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ithamar goes for a double leg but Nucombe avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nucombe continues to drive forward.
Nucombe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ithamar.
Ithamar shoots in but Nucombe avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nucombe wants to counter the offense by Ithamar and move into the clinch position.
Ithamar has been working on his balance at Melhor Lutador MMA, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Nucombe.
