Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apolosi Nawai (ranked 6775 p4p, 501 weight class) and Boxing Sparbot (ranked 5986 p4p, 463 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Apolosi Nawai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boxing Sparbot! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sparbot throws out a loose jab but Nawai uses good head movement to avoid it. Sparbot should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Nawai takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Nawai thuds a left hand into Sparbot's body. Nawai shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sparbot as he jumps to the side. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sparbot! But no joy. Sparbot ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nawai moves away. Nawai appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Sparbot stuffs the takedown. Nawai fails with the takedown and Sparbot counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Apolosi Nawai. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sparbot throws a series of strikes that have Nawai backpedaling.
Nawai forces Sparbot back against the cage and clinches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nawai lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sparbot backwards.
It looks like Boxing Sparbot has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nawai has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sparbot avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Nawai can't get the takedown.
Sparbot is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sparbot is trying to maintain a safe position but Nawai gets an underhook and turns Sparbot into the cage. Nawai lands a shoulder strike. Nawai lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Sparbot looks winded! Sparbot is trying to push Nawai away but Nawai has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Nawai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nawai feints and as Sparbot raises his hands in defense, Nawai changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Nawai's corner is telling him to maintain position. Nawai drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nawai jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Nawai drops back looking for a leg! Sparbot is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sparbot manages to kick Nawai off! Nawai jumps back into Sparbot's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nawai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sparbot swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nawai distracts Sparbot with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Nawai working some strikes from top position. Nawai loads up on a big left hand. Sparbot felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Nawai looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Sparbot can't hide his disappointment, as Nawai celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Apolosi Nawai! A very excited looking Apolosi Nawai made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Solomon Cook! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, OJ Pines! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cook scores with a jab to the body. Pines takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cook throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Pines counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Pines trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Pines working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Cook throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Pines distracts Cook with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Cook is looking for a triangle but Pines pushes his legs off easily.
Pines is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cook has momentary wrist control but Pines slips an elbow through the middle. Pines scoring with punches to the head and body. Pines postures up and lands a big shot to Cook's brow. Cook is breathing heavily. Pines working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cook's head.
Cook is rocked! Pines not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Oh Cook is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Pines arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Cook's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). OJ Pines!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Khali Mukafi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Muller! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muller fails with the takedown. Muller wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Mukafi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Muller. Mukafi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Muller napping and manages to drive through into side control! Muller tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Mukafi has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Muller defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mukafi's arms.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muller is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mukafi gets his way!
Muller won't enjoy being in this position. Mukafi looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Muller is tapping - it's over boys! Mukafi picks up the submission victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Khali Mukafi! Khali Mukafi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
