The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGregor feints and as Mazo raises his hands in defense, McGregor changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mazo scrambles and gets back to his feet.

McGregor instigates a clinch.
Mazo is trying to drag McGregor to the mat but McGregor just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

McGregor manages to break the clinch.
McGregor scores with the left hand. Mazo knows he should have avoided that one.

McGregor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McGregor lands in his opponent's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ventura closes the distance and clinches.

Brawler V pulls guard successfully.
Ventura prevents Brawler V from getting back to his feet.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Brawler V manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Ventura turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ventura manages to end up in side control.
Ventura tries to stand but Brawler V is controlling his head.

Ventura decides to stand back up. Ventura steps back and let's Brawler V get back to his feet.

Brawler V felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Brawler V is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
