Myers comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Soldier's Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Lachlan Myers! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myers attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Myers swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Baxter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Baxter lands with a good body shot. Myers pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Myers looks to score with a jab to the body but Baxter is just out of range. Baxter scores with a shot to the body.
Baxter fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Lachlan Myers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baxter lands an overhand right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Myers is trying hard to land a takedown here. Baxter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nice defenses there by Baxter. Baxter avoids a punch combination nicely.

Baxter tries to counter with a takedown but Myers is quick to defend against it. Myers looks winded! Baxter lands a jab. Baxter lands with a cross. Baxter lands with a right hand. Baxter blocks a head kick by Myers.
Myers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Baxter avoids it really well and circles away. Baxter has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Baxter is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baxter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Baxter clobbers Myers with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A jab lands there for Baxter.
Myers is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baxter fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Myers to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Myers looks to clinch but Baxter throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Myers taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Road takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A big left from Road misses. Road feints and as Collins raises his hands in defense, Road changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Road stands up over Collins, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Road scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Road throwing strikes but missing. Road trying to control but Collins is working from the bottom. Road in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Collins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Road engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Collins looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Collins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Road is fighting to break Collins's control of his arms but Collins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Collins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Collins wants to stand but Road is controlling the position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Road works over Collins with some ground and pound from guard. Road landing with the ground and pound. Collins wants to sweep here but Road controlling him for the moment. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Road connects with a nice short shot to Collins's temple. Right on cue, Road cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Collins takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Road's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wagner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barbosa. Barbosa fails with the takedown. Wagner ducks right into an uppercut from Barbosa. Barbosa dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wagner shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Barbosa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Barbosa lands a jab to the head.
Wagner walks into a stiff left hand from Barbosa. Wagner walks into a jab. Barbosa digs a good body shot into Wagner's ribs. Hawthorne might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mutku is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Norman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. William Norman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladamir Slamenkov. Norman scores with a one two! Slamenkov had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Norman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Slamenkov can do to turn this around? Norman lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Norman drops Slamenkov with a beautiful combination! Slamenkov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Norman is looking for the KO!

He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Slamenkov flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Slamenkov is out cold! Norman holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
