The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mek lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Light circles away quickly and effectively.
Mek throws a right hand that The Light ducks under and follows up with a left that The Light also avoids with ease.
The Light half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Mek wants to clinch.
The Light lands a nice hook to Mek's body. Mek takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The Light punishes Mek's body with a nice straight punch.
The Light steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Mek is out on his feet! The Light sets himself and nearly takes Mek's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Dickinson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dizzee Rascal - Fix up look sharp. Dickinson cracks Theeh with an open hand slap.
Theeh has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Good exchange - Dickinson coming out on top.

and Dickinson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Theeh takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Dickinson has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Theeh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dickinson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dickinson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dickinson!
