Hoffman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Steve counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Steve comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Steve keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Baggins lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Thirkell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Baggins sprawls well initially but Thirkell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Baggins makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thirkell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baggins is fending him off so far but Thirkell persists. Nope, Baggins circles away and we're back to standing.
Baggins goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Thirkell shoots in for a double leg but Baggins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Thirkell takes a jab right on the kisser.

Baggins lands with a big right hook that stumbles Thirkell - he's out on his feet here! Baggins follows up with another monster hook that separates Thirkell from consciousness! Thirkell falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Baggins stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
