Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Kosta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Circie Marcelo! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marcelo clinches with his opponent.
Marcelo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Marcelo manages to end up in side control. Marcelo moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Kosta tries to bench press Marcelo off him but Marcelo keeps the position. Marcelo trying to control the position but Kosta is working away. Marcelo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kosta is trying to get back to half guard. Marcelo wants to control but Kosta is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kosta regains half guard. Marcelo wants to stand but Kosta has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Marcelo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kosta doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Marcelo. Kosta wants to get back to his feet.
Kosta looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kosta pushes Marcelo off looking to stand but Marcelo dives back in and keeps control.
Marcelo throws a strike but Kosta manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Marcelo tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!

Jone lands a nice elbow. Jone has picked Blaze up - he's going for a ride! Jone dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blaze is looking for a sweep. Jone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Blaze actively working from the bottom here. Blaze is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jone pulls his head out easily. Blaze works his way to full guard. Good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jone wants to stand and escape but instead Blaze has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Blaze drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blaze jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blaze thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Blaze advances to half guard. Blaze is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Blaze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Blaze is working for a kimura but Jone is defending it quite comfortably.
